High energy igniters simply mean that they can ignite well. "A single igniter is a device that provides sufficient kinetic energy to ignite the fuel in an instant and can stabilize the flame. High energy igniters are commonly used in power plants, petrochemical plants, coal chemical enterprises, and natural gas industries.".
There are three types of high-energy igniters:
1. Pulse igniter: Due to its low power, the mechanical energy required for ignition is low, resulting in a low spark temperature. For some mixtures of high ignition point gases and relatively low mass concentration gases, the ignition rate is low when ignited by a fan burner, often resulting in safety accidents such as ignition failure or explosion. Long-term and unsustainable ignition can easily damage the product oil burner.
2. Electronic high-frequency high-voltage igniter: High power and high ignition mechanical energy lead to high spark temperature, but the ignition duration is generally less than five minutes, otherwise it can easily generate heat and damage, and its capacity is large and heavy, making assembly and transportation difficult.
3. Magnet coil silicon steel plate igniter: High power and high mechanical energy lead to high spark temperature, and the ignition time is about ten minutes. Xuzhou Jieneng Electric Power Equipment Co., Ltd. recommends that it not be damaged due to heat, but has a small and light capacity.
Specification for use of high energy igniters:
1. During ignition, the ignition device must be turned on first, and then the oil pump (gas) ignites. Generally, the ignition time cannot exceed 30 seconds.
2. During ignition, the combustion air should be turned down and gradually increased after the fire.
3. Gasoline and diesel fuel should be atomized well, and poor atomization quality can harm the ignition pass rate.
4. During operation of the ignition device for 30 seconds, it should rest for 1 minute before replacement to prevent continuous long-term use.
Correct usage of high energy igniters:
1. Never plug in the device when there are no connecting cables or ignition rods; Otherwise, the device may be damaged;
2. Before application, the inspection device should be properly connected and touched, with the ignition rod nozzle end extending 100 to 200mm into the fuel area;
3. The ignition time of the ignition device at a time is generally not longer than 30 seconds, and long-term ignition may damage internal structural electronic devices;
4. During the long shutdown period of the device, disconnect the system software switching power supply;
5. The maintenance of the device can be carried out within 5 minutes of turning off the power supply. (Ensure that the remaining positive charge in the capacitor is released according to the release resistor.).
