Shenzhen Energy Longgang Energy Ecological Park was completed and put into operation in December 2019. It is the largest super large domestic waste incineration facility built by a single unit in China, with a designed daily processing capacity of 5,000 tons. Since it was put into operation, it has harmless treated 7.45 million tons of domestic waste, generated 4.08 billion KWH of electricity, and achieved good social and environmental benefits.

As a major municipal infrastructure project and a key project of pollution control and cleaning in Shenzhen, the project adheres to the concept of high-quality construction and operation, adopts seven-level flue gas purification process for flue gas treatment, and the emission index is far better than the current national standards and EU standards. According to the data released by the National Ministry of Ecology and Environment, Longgang Energy Ecological Park ranks first in the "2020 flue gas emission reduction control ability evaluation" participated by 504 waste incineration enterprises.

Recently, the China Construction Enterprise Management Association announced the list of the first batch of National Quality Project Awards from 2022 to 2023, and a total of 15 domestic projects and 2 overseas projects were awarded the title of "National Quality Project Gold Medal". Longgang Energy Ecological Park, which belongs to Shenzhen Energy Group, is the only project in Guangdong Province that has been selected as the "National Quality Engineering Gold Award" in this batch.
